How to Fix

1. Check CON8 connector (Pin 20 to Pin 19) for loose or disconnected connection between Main PCB and refrigerator sensor.

2. If connector is loose or disconnected, reconnect or repair the connector and retest.

3. Measure sensor resistance at CON8 Pin 20 to Pin 19. If resistance reads 0 ohms (short circuit), replace the refrigerator sensor.

4. Measure sensor resistance at CON8 Pin 20 to Pin 19. If resistance reads open/infinite, proceed to step 5.

5. Compare measured resistance against the temperature-resistance table (e.g., 30k ohm at 32°F/0°C). If out of range, replace the sensor.

6. Check sensor connection. If connection is abnormal, reconnect or repair the connector.

7. If all checks pass, explain to customer that the unit is functioning normally.
